Last updated: 2026-07-24

This Privacy Policy describes how O'Shea & Sons, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use StackWitness (the "Service"), including stackwitness.com, app.stackwitness.com, and related pages.

Questions or privacy requests: hello@stackwitness.com.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Processors and service providers

We use the following processors to operate StackWitness:

These providers process data on our behalf under their terms and data-processing arrangements. They may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.

4. Sharing

We share information with processors as needed to run the Service, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or with your direction. Public truth pages publish measurement summaries for listed providers; they are not intended to expose personal customer data.

5. Retention

We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. Probe history is retained for operational windows needed to rebuild status pages and is pruned over time. Support emails are retained as reasonably needed to help you.

6. Data export and deletion

You may request an export of personal data we hold about your account, or request deletion of your account and associated personal data, by emailing hello@stackwitness.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and as required by applicable law.

We may retain limited information where legally required (for example tax or fraud records) or where data has been de-identified so it no longer identifies you. Public measurements that do not identify you may remain in historical form.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our processors may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, and (when enabled) analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

10. International transfers

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our processors operate.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
